Learn to Skate

Teague had his first skating lesson today. Since Teague wants to play Hockey, he needs to know how to skate.

It was the cutest thing EVER! Teague is the only boy in his class, there are five girls, he likes that idea. They marched like soldiers, held their arms out like airplanes, played "head, shoulders, knees and toes,"put stuffed animals in buckets, pushed the buckets around and fell down and had to get up all by themselves.

When her first got out onto the ice, he was a little nervous and held the teachers hand the whole time, but as soon as all the girls were out there with him, there was no holding the teachers hand. When they were pushing the buckets around, Teague didn't even fall once! When he pushed his bucket to the other side of the ice, he yelled at the top of his lungs so everyone could hear (of course), "I did it!" He really loved to stand there and hold his arms out like an airplane. I am such a proud momma! But the best part of all was when it was all over, he skated over to me with absolutely no problem, not even a little wabble!

GO TEAGUE!! You will rock at hockey!
