Park West

After receiving numerous e-mails about my now famous "M.M." post, I remember that "The Canyons," formerly known as "Wolf Mountain," was formerly known as "Park West." Thank you Meredith, it was driving me nuts! Also, the e-mails helped me remember some of the other concerts I attended at Park West.

Chicago (2x) Indigo Girls (very liberating), Sting, John Denver and Howard Jones.

I also went to a Neil Diamond concert and an Erasure concert. However, I can't remember where they were, either The Delta Center, The Huntsman Center or Park West. And, some other big ones that I've been to are, Garth Brooks (the Delta Center), Clint Black (Huntsman) and "The Brian Setzer Orchestra" (Great Saltair)

I think with this post and the "M.M." post I have pretty much covered all of the big concerts that I have been to.

But I have been to many smaller concerts as well: Cherry Poppin' Daddies, Royal Crown Revue, Big Bad VooDoo Daddy, Squirrel Nut Zippers, Kim Lenz & The Jaguars, Andrew Bird (Aarons Favorite, we've been a couple of times) and X The Band to name a few. All of the concerts listed here Aaron and I went together, his type of music....except X The Band.

Wow! What a strange variety. I just love music, it doesn't really matter what kind it is. Funny though that I have been to two Country Western concerts, because I don't listen to it at all anymore. When I was a senior in High School, It was all that I listened to.

There, now you know a little more about my musical taste.

I loved reading all of the concerts you went to. I went to a few of the same and I wish I went to some of the ones you did. I did go to Depeche Mode at Park West...only to have it rained out and we had to go to The Salt Palace. Why did the tickets say Rain or Shine? Oh well. I remember driving up to Park West and hanging out in the parking lot if we didn't have tickets...just to hear a live concert. Fun memories...

I think I was at some of those :) I am a huge music fan too. I think I spent every penny I earned in high school on concert tickets
