The Memory Game

I have seen this on a few of my friends blogs. I finally decided to play along, so here goes.

1. As a comment on my blog, leave one memory that you and I had together. It doesn't matter if you knew me a little or a lot, anything you remember!

2. Next, re-post these instructions on your blog and see how many people leave a memory about you. If you leave a memory about me, I'll assume you're playing the game and I'll come to your blog and leave one about you.

If you don't want to play on your blog or you don't have a blog, I will either e-mail my memory or put my memory of you in my comments.

Oh, some memories may be rated R :) , so please edit if necessary! I'm just kidding, I never did anything that would have been rated R ;).

I don't remember writing you those letters and calling you a weirdo, but that sounds like me. Weirdo is a complement in my dictionary. I do remember doing each other's hair during circle time on the rug while our teacher read stories to us. That's where I learned all my best hairdo's. Thanks, Karlyn.

I wanna play! I dont really remember the details on why I was meeting you at the time, but it was the first time we met. I believe you came to my house to pick up my brother for a date of some sort. I think it might have been a weekend possibly a Sunday because I think I was supossed to be helping my mom clean house and we often did that on Sundays...Anyway, you walked in and as we were introduced you said "OH NO, ARE YOU USING THAT AS A PILLOW?" "MY MOM WOULD KILL ME!"(Or something along those lines.)I was lying on the island in the kitchen, watching tv, and using a bag of hamburger buns as a pillow....YES HAMBURGER BUNS.

Memories from your husbands favorite and fabulous sister

Is it possible that I remember you from Irene at BHS? My memory is where I am sitting in the audience stage right (probably in one of those folding chairs they'd set up over there, or possibly on the floor :) and you were with...thain. Michael Thain? I could be making this memory up completely. Tell me if I am.

My FOR REAL memory that I am sure of is visiting your home and seeing you and Aaron together with Piper for the first time. She was so tiny and you had dolls out. I remember those dolls and how nicely your house was put together.

I remember when you threw the baby shower for Ang (and soon to be born Seth), that you had a bandana on and looked more pale than normal. I thought this was unusual for you, and then found out later that you were pregnant with Piper. Then I was happy and excited for you. Annie has the best grandkids in the world.

ok not a memory sorry but I had to tell you, I think the fourth book is going to be alittle better, well atleast the parts I've read thus far are, but I'm about to enter the part I think will make me vomit, but I hope not. Anyway, hope you are enjoying it, or that you will if you haven't gotten it yet.

Oh, where to start? I guess there are a few that come to mind. Maybe the car breaking down downtown SLC and we were in our footsie jammies, or maybe the great memories of Tallie Hoing by the guys houses that we liked at the time, or you moms terrific peppermint pie, or maybe Alex, or maybe the singles ward. Wow, good time huh?

Three words: Jesus Christ Superstar. I parents about died when they heard you wanted to take me to see it, on a Sunday at that! It was even worse when I came home and wouldn't shut up about it. Thank you for the awesome experience!
Of course, I also remember lots of other bizarre adventures we endured. You constantly losing your eyelashes for some unknown reason. Having to endure your lustings over Staley. Choir trip to California.
And sadly enough, my first kiss, sad because it was done out of pity. Kind of like kissing your sister. But it was appreciated.
Gus, you have always been a great friend, and were always so interesting to be around. The life of the party.

In response to those that either don't have a blog, or don't have the memory game on their blog:

Spandexisin (still can't get over the id) - The is the exact memory that I think of when I think of you....FOR SURE!

Val - How interesting...I never knew that! The memory that comes to my mind of you is the first Christmas I was part of the family...the day Aaron officially proposed, you were the only one that really noticed that my diamond was a trillion cut.

Delynn - Whenever I think of you, I think of Tallyhoing! Whenever I am anywheres near any of the places that we tallyhoed through, I think of you! And whenever I am at the top of state street in front of the capital (often, daily) I think of you, and laugh.

And last but CERTAINLY not least, Mark - Your first kiss, it wasn't pitty, I enjoyed it! Jesus Christ Super Start was Fantastic! Lustings over Phil? Um...I LOVED him! DUH!:) And I will always remember our long distance phone calls to each other while we were away at college.... and of course, BHS Christmas Dance 1993, and thanks to our sweet moms for remembering to get a boutineer and a corsage!
